Dr. Giovanni Frazzetto is a 'Society in Science' Branco Weiss Fellow at the BIOS Centre of the London School of Economics and at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL). His transdisciplinary research focuses on behavioral neuroscience and its sociological and cultural implications. Giovanni is a founding member and Advisory Expert of the European Neuroscience and Society Network (www.neurosocieties.eu). He is also the 2007 joint-recipient of The John Kendrew Young Scientist Award.
Suzanne Anker, Chair of the Fine Arts Department at the School of Visual Arts, in NYC is an artist, theorist and co-author (with the late Dorothy Nelkin) of The Molecular Gaze: Art in the Genetic Age (Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Press, 2004) Her Internet radio program, “The Bio-Blurb” show, is hosted by P.S.1 and the Museum of Modern Art (www.ps1.org). Her most recent project was an on-line symposium, Visual Culture and Bioscience, sponsored by the National Academy of Sciences and the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
